Electrical Fundamentals Chapter One

This course will include units, conversion factors, graphical symbols, magnetism, parts of an electrical system, resistance, inductance, impedance, conductance, electrical activity such as work, power energy, torque and horsepower. The course will present thermoelectric effect, electro-motive force, magnetic effect, current direction, capacitance, voltage, admittance and susceptance , AC and DC circuits and effective value of circuits. A quiz is offered at the end of the course to evaluate your understanding of the concepts.
*This course is recognized by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulations as 3 hours of formal vocational training or three hours of continuing education. * PENDING APPROVAL (workbook will be added as a download once approval is obtained.)
